Hello,
I am new to airsoft in germany.
I got refered here by google XD.

I was wondering,
I heard that there is some restrictions on the guns you can have here.
I am thus not sure what sellers i am able to buy from here.

I am looking for a battery powered D68 carbine or similar.
Would like to find a bundle with a basic night vision scope, laser and flash light.
some extra mags and of course the bbs.

looking around I cannot seem to find a good sniper that is below 200 euros that is not a plastic toy.

Thank you for any help!!!

Hi,

Night vision scopes, lasers and flashlights are not allowed to be attached to guns in Germany.

Also airsoft is relatively expensive here, so you won't find good guns for cheap.

All guns shooting higher than 0.5 J are restricted to firing semi-auto and must be marked with a special sign (the letter F in pentagon). All guns sold by German shops obey these rules, so you should not order from abroad.

Also modifying your gun is a little tricky, unless you are not able to read German fluently I would recommend to play stock, as our gun law is one of the most strict ones in the EU

Regards

Hello Timothy,

wellcome here.

Please buy your guns and equipment from a german store because there are some restrictions here.

For customers aged 18 or older the powerlimit is 7.5 Joule by law. This weapons are limited to semi-auto only.

Full-auto just with < 0,5J.

Most of the areas have much more restrictive regulations. Mostly 1,5J for SAEGs and about 2,5J for snipers.

Nightvisions, lasers or tactical lights are forbidden as well.

edit: wie so oft zu langsam

Most night vision gear is forbidden in Germany. There are exceptions, but that’s not my subject. Lasers and flash lights attached to your weapon (or just "attachable" in general) are also forbidden. You may also not attach normal flashlights or lasers to your gun with duct tape or anything like that (it is considered a crime).

In general your can use the link section on this page to find shops. Be advised, that it is mandatory to buy airsoft weapons from a german shop, if they are above 0,5J (230 fps on 0.2g BBs) of muzzle energy. Airsoft guns below 0,5J may be ordered from elsewhere, but you have to prove that the gun is below 0,5J (which isn’t easy in most cases). Just stay with german shops to be safe!

The english Wikipedia page Legal issues in Airsoft has a brief description of the basic legal stuff concerning airsoft here in Germany.

If that's the D68 you are interested in: http://gunfire.pl/product-eng-1152205908-D68-carbine-replica.html

Chances are great that it will be a piece of plastic crap.

Your budget is quite low^^

Laser, flashlights, night aiming devices are a no-go in Germany

Hey there and welcome. :)

There are lots of rules and laws about guns wich also apply to airsoft. I think it couldn't be bad to tell you about some basic rules aswell.

First of all there's the location. You are only allowed to play on special fields. (For example you can't just go in a random forrest and play airsoft)
- You need a field with a fence (or something similar) around it so no "random" person can enter the field.
- You have to make sure that no BB can get out of that field (you can do that with a huge safety-zone around it)
- You need a permission from the land owner to play on his land.
(These are just some points...)

Then there are the  Airsoftguns...
- If you use one with an energy below 0.5 joules it can be fully automatic (AEG).
- If you use one above 0.5 joules up to 7.5 joules it can't be fully automatic but semi auto only (S-AEG)
- they need special markings if they have an energy > 0.5j (you'll get these marked guns only in german shops)
- everything above 7.5 joules is handled as a real gun (I think)
- lasers, tac lights, night vision, ... is forbidden here (basically everything that sends a light (even IR) to a target)

- there are also some limits on the airsoft fields. So you should make sure your gun fits these rules/limits.

I hope it's okay to say it here: If you're looking for a good shop, try Begadi. I'm sure they'd also help you to choose a good airsoftgun:)

Best regards

Eidt: The shop Sniper-AS does also have some bundle deals... :)

Thank you all for your experiance.
I shall see what i can do XD

Don't hesitate to ask, if you've got further questions.

In this hobby you can waste a lot of money by buying crap stuff...
